The outcomes we strive for are the enablement of a technologically-prepared workforce, stimulation of technological entrepreneurship, online economic opportunity, and rural broadband advancement.
The global economy in all sectors is now tied to dependency on advanced technology services and digital networking infrastructure. In just the last seven years, individual competitiveness is increasingly being measured by the personal and social computing abilities of our individual citizens.
Each new generation of our children that enters higher education or the workforce requires critical digital citizenship skills to compete with their global counterparts.
In particular, rural communities in the U.S. have a new opportunity window for economic growth by enhancing their K-12 systems to encourage new generations towards high-paying knowledge worker jobs. The digital economy has no geographic boundaries and is ideally suited for creating a rural economic transformation.
Our approach is hands-on, feet-on-the-street. Acting as the trusted third party in the community, we form and execute cooperative public and private technology initiatives tailored to the local community situation which will meet measurable common goals. We do this in concert with existing regional, state, and federal programs as well as specific non-profit initiatives.
By combining the efforts of individual stakeholders, communities can create digital citizens and compete in the global economy. Our goal is to help all community stakeholders work together, shift from a reactive to proactive posture, and see real outcomes rapidly achieved.
